These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Cyberin website at cyberin.com and all related pages, content, tools, and services (together, the “Platform”). The Platform is operated by Cyberin (“Cyberin”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing or using the Platform, creating an account, or using the AI Advisor or any other feature, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.
1. About Cyberin and the nature of the Platform
Cyberin is an informational marketplace and discovery platform for the cybersecurity industry. It organises publicly available information about cybersecurity vendors, products, categories, and market activity into a structured taxonomy (the Cyberin Framework, or “TCF”), and presents it through domain and category pages, vendor and product profiles, comparison pages, a knowledge base (“Wiki”), a market activity feed (“Market Pulse”), and an AI-assisted recommendation tool (the “AI Advisor”).
Cyberin is an information and discovery service, not a party to any transaction. We do not sell, resell, license, host, endorse, certify, or warrant any third-party product or service listed on the Platform. We are not a reseller, broker, agent, or fiduciary of any vendor or user. Any decision to evaluate, contact, purchase, deploy, or rely on any vendor or product is yours alone and is made directly between you and the relevant third party.
2. Eligibility and accounts
The Platform is intended for professionals and businesses for legitimate business purposes. By using it you represent that you are at least 18 years old or, if higher, the age of majority in your jurisdiction, and that, where you act for an organisation, you are authorised to bind that organisation to these Terms. The Platform is not directed to children.
Certain features (including extended use of the AI Advisor and full visibility of listings) require a free account. When you register you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information, including the professional details we request, and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for activity under your account, and must notify us of any unauthorised use. We may suspend or terminate accounts used in breach of these Terms or for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes.
3. The information on the Platform
Aggregation of public information
A substantial part of the Platform consists of information that is publicly available or supplied by vendors and other third parties, which Cyberin collects, organises, classifies, and presents in a structured way. Cyberin’s role is to curate and structure this information — not to independently verify, audit, or certify it.
No warranty of accuracy
The Platform and all content on it are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cyberin makes no representation or warranty that any information — including vendor descriptions, product capabilities, classifications, comparisons, counts, ratings, market data, or AI Advisor output — is accurate, complete, current, reliable, or fit for any particular purpose. Classifications, comparisons, and any scoring or ranking reflect Cyberin’s editorial methodology and are inherently approximate; they are a starting point for research, not a definitive assessment.
Vendor content
Where content originates from or describes a vendor, that vendor (and not Cyberin) is responsible for it. Mention or listing of a vendor does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, certification, or guarantee by Cyberin. Cyberin makes no warranty as to accuracy, and errors or omissions may occur despite reasonable efforts. If you believe information is wrong, outdated, or should be removed, please contact us and we will review the matter in good faith.
Decision-support, not professional advice
Cyberin provides structured intelligence and decision-support to help you research the market. It does not provide authoritative truth, or professional, security, legal, financial, or procurement advice, and must not be relied upon as a substitute for independent professional judgment and your own due diligence. You remain solely responsible for evaluating the suitability, security, and compliance of any product or vendor for your environment.
4. The AI Advisor
The AI Advisor generates suggestions automatically based on the information you provide and on Platform data. Because it is automated and probabilistic, its output may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or unsuitable for your circumstances.
- Errors and hallucinations. Output may contain errors, omissions, hallucinations, incorrect classifications, or outdated information. You must independently verify any suggestion before acting on it.
- No completeness. Cyberin does not guarantee that the AI Advisor considers or surfaces all available vendors, products, or alternatives. A vendor or product not appearing in a result is not a judgment about it.
- No endorsement. Vendors or products surfaced by the AI Advisor are not endorsed or certified by Cyberin.
- Usage limits. We may impose and vary limits on AI Advisor usage, and may differentiate between unregistered and registered users.
5. Acceptable use
You agree that you will not, and will not permit any third party to:
- use the Platform for any unlawful, infringing, fraudulent, or harmful purpose;
- scrape, crawl, harvest, copy, or systematically extract data, listings, or the TCF taxonomy, or use automated means to access the Platform, except as expressly permitted in writing or by a published robots policy;
- reproduce, republish, resell, sublicense, or build a competing or derivative database or service from Cyberin content;
- to the extent permitted by applicable law, use any Cyberin content, taxonomy, classifications, vendor data, comparisons, scores, or Platform outputs to train, fine-tune, pre-train, augment, ground, evaluate, or build retrieval-augmented (RAG) or other machine-learning or AI systems, without our prior written permission;
- to the extent permitted by applicable law, reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract, derive, or reconstruct the TCF taxonomy, classification methodology, ranking or scoring logic, or other proprietary methodology;
- circumvent, disable, or interfere with security, access-control, rate-limiting, or registration features;
- introduce malware, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Platform;
- misrepresent your identity or affiliation, or submit false or misleading information; or
- use the Platform, the AI Advisor, or any contact feature to harass, spam, or send unsolicited communications.
6. Intellectual property
The Platform, the TCF framework and taxonomy, the selection and arrangement of data as a compilation, the software, design, text, graphics, and the Cyberin name and logo are owned by Cyberin or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property and database laws. Except for the limited right to access and use the Platform for your internal business and evaluation purposes, no rights are granted to you.
The Cyberin Framework (TCF). The structure, categorisation methodology, domain and category definitions, relationships, classifications, scoring and ranking systems, and overall taxonomy of the TCF framework constitute Cyberin’s proprietary intellectual property and trade secrets, developed through substantial investment. They may not be copied, adapted, reproduced, used to classify or organise a third-party dataset, or otherwise exploited outside the Platform without our prior written permission.
Vendor names, logos, and trademarks shown on the Platform are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification and informational purposes only.
7. Your content
You retain ownership of the content you submit (such as AI Advisor inputs and contact submissions). By submitting it, you grant Cyberin a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to host, store, process, analyse, and use that content to operate, secure, improve, and develop the Platform and our services, and — in aggregated and/or de-identified form — for the analytics and commercial purposes described in our Privacy Policy. You represent that you have all rights necessary to submit your content and that it does not infringe any third-party right or any law.
8. Vendors and vendor content
Vendor profiles are compiled by Cyberin from publicly available information and, where applicable, from information supplied by vendors. Each vendor is solely responsible for ensuring that any information it submits, claims, or approves is accurate, complete, non-misleading, lawful, and kept up to date. Cyberin does not independently verify vendor-supplied information and is not liable for it. The appropriate remedy for allegedly inaccurate vendor information is to request a correction through the process below. Cyberin may in future offer vendors optional paid features under separate terms.
9. Sponsored content and paid placement
Cyberin’s listings, rankings, classifications, and comparisons are presented on the basis of its editorial methodology. Cyberin may, now or in the future, offer sponsored placements, featured listings, badges, advertising, or other paid visibility. Where a placement is sponsored or paid for, we will identify it as such where required by law. Any sponsorship or payment does not constitute an endorsement, certification, or guarantee by Cyberin, and does not represent that a sponsored vendor or product is superior, safer, or more suitable than any alternative.
10. Introductions, inquiries, and leads
The Platform may allow you to contact a vendor, request an introduction, or submit an inquiry. The information you submit for that purpose is transmitted to the relevant vendor, and any subsequent communication, evaluation, or transaction is solely between you and that vendor. Cyberin does not guarantee the quality, quantity, suitability, responsiveness, conversion rate, business value, or commercial outcome of any lead, inquiry, introduction, or contact request. Cyberin is not a broker, agent, recruiter, staffing or placement agency, or representative of any vendor or user, and no agency, partnership, employment, or fiduciary relationship is created by your use of any contact feature.
11. Content correction and disputes
If you are a vendor (or its authorised representative) or any user and you believe information on the Platform is inaccurate, outdated, or should be removed, you may submit a correction or removal request to info@cyberin.com with sufficient detail to identify the content and the claimed issue. We will review such requests in good faith and, where we consider a change appropriate, will correct, update, or remove the content, while retaining editorial discretion.
If you believe content infringes your intellectual-property rights, send a notice to info@cyberin.com identifying the rights-holder, the material and its location, a statement of good-faith belief that the use is unauthorised, and your contact details. We will review valid notices and remove or disable access to infringing material where appropriate.
12. Export control, sanctions, and lawful use
Cybersecurity information and tools may be subject to export-control, sanctions, and trade laws. You represent that you are not located in, and will not use the Platform on behalf of any person located in, a jurisdiction subject to comprehensive sanctions, and that you are not a person with whom dealings are prohibited under applicable sanctions or export-control laws. You will not use the Platform, or any information obtained through it, in violation of any applicable export-control, sanctions, cybersecurity, anti-terrorism, or trade law.
13. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Platform and all content, data, and services are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, title, and non-infringement. Cyberin does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that any information will be accurate or reliable.
14. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- Cyberin and its officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, business opportunity, or procurement decisions, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the Platform, the AI Advisor, or any vendor or content;
- Cyberin will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from any action you take, decision you make, product you procure, or vendor you engage in reliance on the Platform; and
- Cyberin’s total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Platform will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to Cyberin, if any, in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or one hundred US dollars (US$100).
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for wilful misconduct.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cyberin and its officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Platform, your content, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
16. Changes, suspension, and termination
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Platform at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access or account if you breach these Terms or if we reasonably consider it necessary to protect the Platform, other users, or third parties. We may also update these Terms from time to time; the updated version will be posted with a new date, and your continued use after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance. For material changes we will take reasonable steps to notify registered users.
17. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or with your use of the Platform (including non-contractual disputes), are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The competent courts of Tel Aviv–Jaffa, Israel, will have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory local law in your country of residence provides otherwise — including any non-waivable consumer-protection or forum rights that apply to you.
18. General
- Entire agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and Cyberin regarding the Platform.
- Severability. If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
- No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it.
- Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
- Force majeure. We are not liable for any failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
