Transcend

Transcend is a data privacy and compliance platform founded in 2017 by co-founders Ben and Mike, who met as students at Harvard. The company onboarded its first customer, Patreon, in 2019, beginning with automated data subject request (DSR) processing. Transcend has since expanded its platform to include Consent Management, AI Governance tooling (including a product called Pathfinder), and broader data compliance solutions. By 2023, the company had grown to 50 employees and established partnerships with two Fortune 50 customers.
