pfSense

pfSense is open-source firewall and router software distribution based on FreeBSD designed to provide network security and routing functionalities from small home networks to enterprise-level deployments. The platform offers stateful packet filtering, VPN support, traffic shaping, load balancing, and supports modular architecture allowing capability extension through packages and plugins. The software deploys on physical or virtual hardware with web-based interface management and includes network diagnostics and reporting tools maintained by Netgate with commercial services.
