CNA analysts have received nearly 100 service awards from the Department of the Navy and other elements of the Department of Defense in recent decades. Recipients have been recognized across multiple award tiers, including the Distinguished Public Service Award, Superior Public Service Award, and Meritorious Public Service Award. Notable honorees include David Finkelstein, who received the Distinguished Public Service Award in 2025, and Robin Holliday, recognized for her leadership of the TLAM Effectiveness Project studying Tomahawk strike accuracy. Gary Federici received the Distinguished Public Service Award in 2003 for his career-long role in the development of naval space policy.
